Congratulations to Our High School Team on Their Ranatra Fusca!
The Ranatra Fusca is awarded to teams that show exceptional creativity, and is the highest award an OM team can receive. We are incredibly proud of this team for their Ranatra and their first place win at the NC state tournament.
Now the hard part: We have to raise $5000 by April 29 and an additional $3000 by May 20th to get this deserving team to World Finals. See our Fundraising and Sponsorship page for ways you can help, or use the DONATE button below to donate today! |

Watch this video to get a look behind the scenes at some of the problem-solving skills and creativity that earned our 2014 Driver's Test team a spot at World Finals.
Problem summary: For this problem, teams will design, build, and drive a vehicle that will travel a course where a student driver attempts to complete tasks in order to pass a driver’s test. The vehicle will travel using one propulsion system and then travel in reverse using a different propulsion system. The solution will include a GPS character, a directional signal, and the creative use of recycled materials in the building of the car.
